Support the Philippines’ Entry to Blackberry Dream App Factory: "EPICUE"

(snapshot from GadgetPilipinas.net)
The Filipino Blackberry App Developers made the App: Epicue

"A social app that allows users post and share their thoughts about a restaurant and help other customers through reviews, ratings and more importantly, customer traffic and volume. It provides other information such as location, contact numbers and menu among others."

And I'm Judgely thinking that this is a better Concept for 4squared.

And The Filipino App Devs like: Oliver Martinez (Developer/Designer), John G Bibal II (Team Leader), Allyson L. de Lumban (Developer), Marc Anthony Donavan Lim Go (Developer) Pete Angelo Doliogosa (UI and Usability Design Lead/Developer) made this App for the Blackberry Dream App Factory!

Its app name, “Epicue” is a contraction of the word epicure which means a gourmet or a person who is devoted to good food and drinks. Being an epicure, food and drink satisfaction comes first, so the app wants to solve and minimize customer dissatisfaction. But through Epicue, you can avoid dissatisfaction beyond food because the app lets you know if it’s the best time to visit a restaurant. Arriving at a restaurant hungry and finding out that you need to wait for 30 minutes to get seated spoils the moment.
The name Epicue is also chosen because aside from giving a hint that the app is about food, the name can be broken down to words that can be associated with various features of the application.
First is Pic. The app would allow users to post restaurant status with photos. And as a homonym of the word pick, users can choose from the list of recommended restaurants based on proximity to the user or on the current traffic/volume.
Another is Cue. Sounds like the word queue, the app lets you know which restaurant has heavy traffic and possible customer queues so you can properly decide on where to eat. And as the word cue means, traffic status posts and reviews from previous restaurant visitors would serve as your cue or signal whether to visit it or maybe look for another one.
And finally the word Epic. The app wants to help users avoid disappointments, and with the help of restaurant reviews and real-time/average traffic and volume from other Epicue users, it will transform a possible epic fail into an epic success!
SPOILER: Big Time Rafael Oca is one of the Team.
