Samsung Galaxy Star Hands-on and Review

Ladies and Gentlemen and Droids, the Cheapest Android Jelly Bean Smartphone from Samsung, The Samsung Galaxy Star!

This is the Samsung Galaxy Star!

A Dual Sim Smartphone Powered by 1GHz Cortex-A5 ARMv7 Processor with 512MB RAM with Internal Storage of 4GB (Only 1.5GB you can Use) but Expandable up to 32GB with a MicroSD Card, FM Radio, 3 inches with QVGA Resolution (240 x 320), 2MP Rear Camera and Running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

As you Seen Above is the back cover of the said device, On the Top Left, is the 2MP Camera and next to it is the Speaker hole. The Back cover is Made of Hard Glossy Black Plastic with (of course) a Samsung Logo on It. Becaus it's Just a Small Smartphone, It's Easier to Handle.

I Almost forgot, There's also a POWER Hardware Button on the Right Side of the Phone. It's thick than you can Imagine, with a Plastic Aluminum cover in the border and around the Hardware Home Button.

the box includes a Manual, Phone itself, battery and a charger and yes, no Data Cable and/or Headset.

The Battery is Li-Ion 1200 mAh battery with a Standby time up to 320h, and Internet usage up to 8h. and to use this Device, Use the Micro SIM but I'm afraid there's no 3G either on Both SIM Slots.

Now to Compare this with Other Devices, on the Left side is my Mom's Galaxy Y, and Believe it or not, It have a said screen Size but Galaxy Y is Thinner. And on the Right Side is my Old iPod Touch 2nd Gen, It's a Little Bigger Screen Yet Thinner than Star.

This is Priced at 4,500Php at the Samsung Concept Stores, Abenson and Electro World and Available in Two Colors and the Other one is White, There's also a Single SIM Version (that The SIM Slot is not a Regular SIM Card) but Same NO 3G.

This is Pretty good for the Basic Android Jelly Bean Smartphone, They Gave me this device for the Birthday and It also Fits to Give Someone for the Birthday, Anniversary or any other Celebreations Either.
