Wazzup Everybody? Storage is a Huge Problem for me especially as a Content Creator. And also I don't want someone to snoop my files when I'm not around because of the important documents that I have. And here comes Western Digital's My Passport Ultra where They take "Ultra" literally. (Read the whole review after this break)

Let's talk about my experience owning a WD Portable Hard Drive first, I have a WD Elements 1042 500GB Portable Hard Drive that serves me for 5 years now. And I can tell you that this Hard Drive is very Reliable whenever I needed and Running out of Storage Space. But that changes as the years go by with what I'm reviewing right now.
WD My Passport Ultra is a Premium Portable Storage that comes from 500GB, 1TB, to 2TB, and also in different colors too. The one I got is a 2TB White. It uses USB 3.0 Interface (but Backwards Compatible with USB 2,0). There's a lot of ULTRA going on and I'll show some cool stuff why I like My Passport Ultra.
ULTRA Capacity - I have never experience to own a very large capacity Storage Drives before until I got my hands to this. All of my Hard Drives are only at 500GB. But this is the real deal too for Portability, because you can store a ton of data with this small, bulky, and grips nicely into your hand, and good-looking Hard Drive.
ULTRA Features - I'm that one guy who takes Privacy Seriously. When I fired up WD Apps on my PC, I saw WD Security, Which it will take advantage of the 256-bit hardware encryption. I locked this up and fire in different OSes like my other Windows PC, Mac and Ubuntu. I can't access the files unless if I installed WD Security. And for other WD Apps like Backup, Drive Utilities, Quick View are some apps that I'm not gonna use for Daily Basis but I did try them all and they works great in the long run.
ULTRA Performance - I'm kinda surprised at the performance (comparing to my old WD Elements) but at the same time, not surprised at the Disk Speed with CrystalDiskMark and Traditional Copy-Paste Tests because the fact this is a Hard Disk Drive, not a Solid State Drive with blazing fast file transfer speeds. from CrystalDiskMark, I like the fact you can go as much as 80MB/s for writing which is saves me from transferring Uncompressed Video files very easily, although for Real World / Traditional Copy-Paste Test it only runs at Estimated 60MB/s but it's still pretty nice comparing to my old WD Elements which can only do 40MB/s.
It's conclusion time! Is it worth to buy a Portable High-Capacity and Secured Storage? Yes! I recommend getting one of this if you need a lot of Storage even if it's for Entertainment, Gaming, Content Creating, Business, and more. But I'll highly recommend this for those who running Business there and wants to secure confidential and very important documents.
An Ultra-Thanks to Western Digital for lending me WD My Passport Ultra for Review!
