SJCAM SJ4000: The Best GoPro Alternative! (Hands-on)

One of the IN's right now for a Tech-savvy Person is having an Action Camera, but the problem is, not everybody can't afford getting a GoPro. Well now, we can answer our questions in our minds like: "This is the Best GoPro Alternative?"as we have my detailed hands-on of the SJCAM SJ4000. Check this baby out after the break.

SJCAM SJ4000 is a Chinese Brand, most people don't trust those kind of Brand, but I'm telling you right now, this is a brand to trust when looking for a GoPro Alternative. It features a Small HD Display, 12MP Crispy-tier Photo, 1080p 30fps Crispy-tier Video, a Lot of Accessories to start with (which I'll get into that later on this post.) It doesn't look like a Carbon Fiber, it's more on Plastic-looking, but It feels like one, the texture are good and very solid.

As my GoPro Hero 4 Silver as a Comparison, SJ4000 is a Little smaller but Thicker than My Hero 4 Silver. Although surprisingly both of them have a same good feel when it comes to quality.

The Display is way smaller than the Hero 4 Silver though but I'm also surprised it works well, the drawback is, you can't set the display brightness. The Interface controls are not bad too although you don't expect much at it's price point. The quality is almost identical to Hero 4 Silver, one thing I'm annoyed at is the 60fps Function where it just Doubles the frame wasting tons of data when recording. But since this device can run Updates, I hope SJCAM can do something about it.

That's not the only Good Stuff you will find, you will also get tons of accessories to get start with your footage. If this is not enough for you, well, guess what? You can use it with GoPro Accessories too like Head Strap, Bicycle Mounts, and Many more with it! (well, except for the GoPro Remote.)
So, In conclusion, is it Perfect Action Camera? No. But for it's Price Point? YES. Is it the best GoPro Alternative? DEFINITELY. This Baby is Priced at Php 3,699 BUT Hold your horses when buying this at Lazada, because they will sell this for Php 2,999 during the 11/11 Sale!
