[Editorial] The End of NicDroid (Tech Blog) (and New Channel Announcement)

Wazzup Everybody? NicDroid Tech is been for 5 years and I (but now we,) thanking you all for the never-ending support from the "unprofessionally professional" content we do here all away from NicDroid Gazette in 2013, and we reached the end of the NicDroid (Tech Blog) Brand. Will NicDroid Media Team be dissolved? Will NicDroid just stick at his Music and Streaming Career? Did the infamous Anti-NicDroid Blog (and its supporters) win against me? Find out more below.

A summarized background of the Tech Blog branding before why we stopped, I started as a Mobile Tech Reviewer circa 2013, giving thoughts everything mobile tech at my young age. Everything just sparked right in when I became one of the hosts of a Podcast called "The Big Time Show" with Alex Rivera from TheTechnoclast, Jam Ancheta of JAM Online, Gian Viterbo of Gadget Pilipinas, TJ Panganiban of (now) 4onmobile, and others. My blog was originally just for my thoughts and creative ideas that are everything mobile tech-related, but of course, I got out of my niche and start doing what I also finished, PC Tech. Although it was completely overshadowed by Mobile Tech (so you don't see me post that very much or at all,) But to sum the rest of the history of the Tech Blog brand of NicDroid, it all started with just passion and dedication to everything Tech. This is where people like Dwight and Hilde hopped on board with me since 2016, now Dwight is one of the Lead Writer and Hilde became a very helpful right hand for photo and video work.

Okay, now enough about the history of it (which is actually pretty long,) There might be some misconceptions why NicDroid Tech is shutting down for real (and not another shotty April Fools joke;) No, NicDroid Media Team is not dissolving despite 80% of our team members are students and 20% (of us) has a daytime job; No, I'm not ditching this aspect of making content, since this is most I have known for, yet my Music Career will stay and so as Streaming (twitch.tv/NicDroid by the way,) and of course that infamous blog (that some people "knew" I made it) isn't winning, I honestly don't care and didn't even read. (People really like dramas these days, weird.)

And for the real reason, We're actually stepping up our game. (This is why I've been very busy as well and can't go on time with a scheduled post.) And as much as I want to see my own name in a Tech Blog, I wanted a Tech and Geek blog that will also put the writers (who actually do most of the work since we started the NicDroid Tech brand,) their spotlights, and our Lead Writer, Dwight actually made a long list of how we can improve our content (so make sure to follow him on Instagram so you can guys thank him for lightening up the load to make our big move smooth.) NicDroid Media Team is just a very small group that I also treat as a company, so I have to pay them back in anyway somehow for sharing their creativity and effort to give you guys what's happening in the Tech, Gaming, and Geek world while fighting our own schedules in our daytime job and school schedules.

So, we'll announce the new website (and you'll be seeing some catch-up content) on Sunday (June 3, 2018,) It's still going to share some elements from NicDroid Tech but in a different Brand, expect a lot of reviews since they're going back, there will be more editorials about Tech, Gaming, and Geek. And we even have a plan dissolving 90% of the Mobile Tech posts, but it's going to return as we will introduce to you our new writer on that new website.
 

So, what more can you expect from the new Tech, Gaming, and Geek website? The pending giveaway for the fellow Audistas there, the giveaway will be on the new website on Monday! (June 4, 2018) via Rafflecopter, The most-awaited review of the Cheapo Capture Card (EZCAP284) will be published there, and We got some package from our friends at AMD, because we're finally going to do some benchmark and other AMD-related posts!
