Wazzup Everybody? Western Digital external storages became one of my trusted external storage brand for the couple of years with the WD Elements, impressed at the ultra-handy WD My Passport Ultra external hard drive, and amazed at the simplicity of having your own NAS and Cloud Storage with the WD MyCloud Mirror that I reviewed few months ago, and they unveiled their new design language for the iconic lines like My Passport, My Passport for Mac, and My Book hard drives. Let's have a quick look and what's behind at this new design.

Before getting into my first thoughts about the new design, My Passport drives will come in six vivid colors: Black, Yellow, Red, White, Orange, and Blue - I like how the new design came in different colors that can match to something you need to personalize.
From afar, it looks like a small scale model of an Xbox One, but don't get me wrong, they're not that alike but if you're going to use the redesigned My Passport as an external storage for the said game console, get the black one and It will look nice because it matches the mix of matte and glossy finish. Overall, it's very sleek even if i'm not too keen using a glossy finish device.
