Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube 2: Best Bang-for-a-Buck Phablet? (Hands-on)

Wazzup Everybody? Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube brings a line of Flagship-powered phone but of a Price of an Entry-level or Midrange-level smartphone. This what promised when I get a Hands-on with their New Product. This is my Hands-on of Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube 2 (I'm just going to call this Cube 2 as we go on.) Find out more about this amazing phone and it's price after this break.

Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube 2 is a 5.7-inch Full HD OGS IPS Display, houses a 1.7GHz octa-core Mediatek Processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (sadly, not expandable, I'll explain why later), 13MP BSI Panasonic Rear Camera with LED flash, 8MP BSI Front camera, 3500mAh battery. WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, OTG Compatible, and to top it all off with Android 4.4 KitKat.

(from Left to Right) Volume Rocker, Power Button, (barely visible) Two MicroSIM Slots, MicroUSB Port.
All I can say is... this is thin. It's not as thin as Oppo R5 BTW, but when I held that Phone for the first time, I feel like holding a 5.5-inch Phone that is similar to my daily driver phone, but it's because of it's very thin bezel, I tried to swipe from right corner to left while on the home screen, I have trouble swiping it which lead us to the fact that the bezels are thin, The screen is vivid, the lowest brightness setting is too perfect when reading at night without any supporting light, and the highest brightness is at the point is too poppy indoor, but i'll assure this is perfect for outdoors. It also protected with Gorilla Glass with Three capacitive button on the bottom.

Back of the Cube 2. You will just see the CUBIX itself and a Contact for NFC.
Oh, and on the Back, it protects with another Glass with Gorilla Glass. Nothing special here since you will just find the "CUBIX" Engraving, NFC Contact, 13MP Camera and Flash.

(That Flower connected to MicroUSB Port is a Card Reader own by my buddy from GIZGUIDEPH)
Performance-wise, It scores 31,138 Points on Antutu Benchmark (The score isn't verified, but not bad BTW.) I didn't focused on the performance much, but my expectancy of this device is like having a Powerhouse Specs of a Lenovo A7000 Plus. User Interface is very Stock with it's Android KitKat Stock UI (with some Cherry Mobile Apps), I like how in Idle mode, It doesn't slow down or get any hiccups on our first Hands-on. It only comes with 16GB of Internal Storage, so It's a major drawback for a guy like me but I think people are okay with a 16GB of Storage.

The 13MP Panasonic BSI Rear Camera is almost to the Crispy-tier Camera Phone, almost smiliar to other 13MP Phones like A7000 Plus. (Sadly, forgot to get the sample shots) But I've seen better but It does have a good aperture size of f/2.2. It's not as crispy as the other phones I tried, but It still gets the job done at it's price point. The front camera is as decent as Rear even on f/2.8 aperture size. Long story short, It's a Great Camera, but It's not the best.
That thing is not a button, it's a protector for the 3.5mm Headphone Jack.
A pretty nice touch (as long as you don't lost the plug.)
The Battery Life expectancy of Cube 2's 3500mAh Battery will be estimated at 9-8 hours on Everyday Normal People Usage, or 6 hours for Power User, but for the "NicDroid Usage" (Mobile Data on, Location at High Accuracy, Bluetooth on for Android Wear) will be estimated at roughly 4-5 hours before hitting that charge.

Is It Perfect? No. But It's worth it at it's Price Tag. Definitely, Cube 2 is priced at Php 4,999 and It will be available at Lazada on November 6, 2015 by High Noon. (or 12nn) This is where the title "Bang-for-a-buck" starts to kick in, You will get a 5.7-inch Phablet with a Octa-core Power, a Dual BSI Cameras, a Good Looking Phone for that Price, you will say it's impossible, but no, IT IS.

[Thank You to Lazada and Cherry Mobile for Lending me this device for a detailed Hands-on and Impressions!]

(UPDATE: Thanks to Jaycee Xlii for the Benchmark Score Typo Heads-up!)
